After F5’s acquisition of Volterra, NGINX and Shape, F5 is working on integrating 6 product’s design system together and create a new design system website for external use.

I was the sole designer responsible for both the visual design system and the design of the internal and external design system website. I conducted internal design system user interview and research for external users.

Reflections on my internship at F5: design, share, iterate
In this project, I was collaborating with cross-functional teams including the engineering, product managers and product designers team at F5.

I also had the chance to reach out to the designers in the industry to learn more about the design system. I learned more about design system and how to collaborate with cross-functional teams to make decisions and iterations.
Moving Forward
Collaborate with content writers to work on the F5 design community stories content
Collaborate with engineers on developing the f5.design website
More user testing with external users and design iteration on the internal design system
